Vadim Finkelstein, president of the M-1 Global promotion company, believes that Khabib Nurmagomedov, the owner of the Eagle FC promotion, will not be able to agree with Bellator President Scott Cocker on organizing a fight between Russian Fedor Emelianenko and Brazilian Junior dos Santos.

Earlier, Nurmagomedov offered to organize a duel between Emelianenko and dos Santos if the Brazilian defeated Yorgan de Castro.

– As I understand it, Fedor is supposedly having his last fight now. In 2012, I also organized his last fight. 10 years have passed. As far as the battle with dos Santos, Scott Cocker is not a very simple guy, he is cunning. I don’t think he and Khabib will agree on anything if Emelianenko is under a contract with Bellator. Cocker will have inflated demands.

Khabib needs to fight himself. Why should he fight Fedor, I don’t understand. Nurmagomedov himself can return for one time and have another fight, RT Finkelstein quotes.

Emelianenko, 45, has 40 victories and six losses in his MMA career. The 38-year-old dos Santos has 21 wins and nine losses.
