The cheapest car can be bought for 8.2 million rubles. This is KAMAZ-4911, built in 2004 and participated in 10 races. KAMAZ-4326 of 2007 participating in the Dakar will cost 10.4 million rubles. The most expensive is the modern KAMAZ-43 509 for 60 million rubles. It’s a new car, similar to the car the team won in the last Dakars.
“Due to the departure of foreign partners, we are working in savings mode and are actively looking for alternative sources to replenish the budget,” said Match TV team leader Vladimir Chagin. “We decided to meet the many demands of local and foreign collectors who want to buy sports cars. We have been receiving requests to sell this or that car for a long time, but now we can say that life has forced us. I don’t see anything wrong with the fact that someone gets the valuable sports KAMAZ in their collection and the team receives additional funds to continue its activities, I don’t see anything wrong with it.”
