Leclerc crashed in Monaco with Launda’s historic Ferrari
Charles Leclerc drove Launda’s historic Ferrari 312 in the ’70s Monaco Historique, but things didn’t go well for him after being sent to the gates.
At 13 “Monaco Historique” Ferrari decided to honor the memory of Nicky Launda and gave Charles Leclerc the opportunity to drive the historic Ferrari 312 driven by the great Austrian in 1974. But things didn’t go the way everyone expected.
The Monegasque driver had an unlucky moment during the race after stepping on dust created by an accident, causing him to lose control of the car and crashing onto the guard rails.
Quite logically, after the accident, everyone referred again to the … curse of Monaco chasing Leclerc, who since 2017 has not managed to finish the GP that takes place where he grew up! The Ferrari driver is now hoping to break the ‘curse’ at this year’s Monaco GP, which takes place on March 29.
