CSKA Sports Director Denis Denisov shared his impressions after the introduction of the new race cars and the updated roster of the LADA Sport ROSNEFT team for the 2022 season.
— Denis Valeryevich, what are your impressions of these beautiful and powerful cars that claim to win in the new season?
– Actually, the impressions are very pleasant. I am glad that our import substitution works and produces cars that professional racers are happy to drive. I am glad that CSKA hockey club and LADA Sport ROSNEFT are together not only in hockey, not only in racing, but also in life.
— Would you like to drive one of these cars?
– Without a doubt! There is a great desire. May Allah make this happen together with our friends. We all think we’re racers: There’s probably not a single man who doesn’t think he’s a racer and can beat a pro. I want to try and maybe prove that it is possible.
– At first glance, hockey and racing seem like two completely different sports. Do they have anything in common?
– Exactly. Everyone wants to be first. And this is what unites all sports. Sport without consequences is physical education. And this is a professional sport, that is hockey, that is car racing, – the press service of the club quotes Denisov.
