Formula 1, GP Monaco: Objection rejected by Ferrari, it remains 1: 3 in Perez – Ferstappen
Sergio Perez and Max Ferstappen retained their places and points as Monaco Grand Prix judges dismissed Ferrari’s appeal.
Ferrari’s appeal against Red Bull at the Monaco Grand Prix was dismissed. Based on the fact that Sergio Pezez and Max Ferstappen crossed the yellow line on their return to the Monte Carlo circuit from the pit lane, the Scuderia took the view that both drivers should be penalized, but their attempt was in vain.
Perez and Ferstappen were asked for explanations by the judges and they felt there was no real fault as their wheels had not exceeded the limits and thus retained their positions and points.
