Formula 1, Monaco GP: Perez and Saint met in the qualifying final
Woe to the end of qualifying in Monte Carlo as Sergio Perez landed in the guard rails and Carlos Sainth pounced on him immediately afterwards.
Sergio Perez and Carlos Sainte ended the Formula 1 Grand Prix qualifying in Monte Carlo in the worst possible way. The Mexican lost control of Red Bull on the bend before entering the tunnel and the Spaniard following behind was unable to escape the collision, disrupting the process and giving Charles Leclerc pole position for tomorrow’s game.
Perez will start from third place, Saint from second place. The damage to their cars is not so bad that it would be a problem in the 24 hours until tomorrow’s race.
