Sachsenring is a very special circuit. It has a go-kart-like part and is very toned. That’s where drivers make a difference. There are many left corners and only three right corners, so it is not physically demanding. The last sector is really fast and the brakes are pretty rushed. Any applicant can choose to win. Fabio Quartararo and his Yamaha may be ready to be competitive. I think Aprilia and Ducati are the same. See if Honda can find the right path, and if Suzuki can also find it. The transfer market began to move after Fabio Quartararo renewed with Yamaha and Jack Miller signed with KTM. Do you think there is room for all drivers for now?

It doesn’t seem appropriate for everyone to continue in MotoGP, so I’m not sure if there’s room for everyone to participate. The Ducati factory team is between Jorge Martin and Enea Bastiany, but Jorge Martin is a great driver so I’d like them to decide, but the Italians seem to have more points. From there, see how the structure is left behind. At Tech3, the relationship with Miguel Oliveira seems very clear. Among the Suzuki riders, Joan Mir is going to Honda and Alex Rins seems to be still a little floating in the air. We will see because these two races coming before summer vacation are important. If you are facing a volatile market as it is today, does this correspond to more anxiety, competition, grit and shows?

I think it’s an important moment before the end of the first half of the season. The team and factory will decide. Once decided, there is no turning back. Even if it works well in the second half of the season, drivers will be able to join the team for the next season. The pre-contract has not been signed yet and I think there is uncertainty. The rider knows this and now it’s important to prove his worth and start doing his best to find a place for the next season.

Will Honda riders be improved with the new chassis released in Barcelona?

The truth is that Honda is an unknown quantity. It’s clear that Alex Marquez and Pol Espargaro are also there, but I was a little helpful with pilot Takaaki Nakagami. The truth is that it is not easy. They have tested many chassis, but there are still issues that have not been resolved. That is the setup. The bike is unstable and powerful, but has not been dosed or used. Let’s see what happens. Hopefully they can find the right path and maximize their potential to compete with top brands.

What are your expectations for the MotoGP podium at the German Grand Prix?

I think Fabio Quartararo will still make a difference. Bagnaia is fighting. From then on, Suzuki will be their turn, so check to see if you can take the lead. Aleix Espargaro’s Aprilia, on the other hand, is only 22 points behind Fabio Quartararo, and at least you need to keep that difference so that the French don’t increase or decrease points if they want to. Do you think Sachsenring will be doing a show in Moto3?

Sakusen ring is a circuit that can open a gap and leave, as the slipstream is less important if the first corners are well connected. There is a lot of equality in this category, so solo racing will be difficult. Izan Guevara is strong and it is clear that he will go to his teammate Sergio Garcia Dors.

The Briton stated that his preparation is now much tighter than at the beginning of his career, with recovery playing a key role in maintaining a competitive level.

“The regime has changed, it has improved. I still love running. This morning I ran 6 to 8 miles. Then I took an ice bath. But above all, the first thing I do as soon as I get out of bed is stretch,” Hamilton said.

According to the pilot, in order not to gain excessive weight, he limits strength training and prefers pilates, yoga and interval training. At the same time, there are two elements that he does not reject under any circumstances.

“Ice baths are not an option. Before, I didn’t really think about recovery: I just trained and got on with my life. Now stretching and ice baths are things I force myself to do every day,” Hamilton emphasized.

The seven-time champion athlete attaches great importance to mental health as well as physical training. He admitted that breathing exercises, meditation and yoga helped him cope with the stress of the 24-stage season.

The Ferrari driver concluded: “An ice bath teaches you to control your breathing and fight the urge to give up. This helps me stay positive throughout the year.”
