Fernando Alonso He continues to expand his legend with each passing weekend and in this 2022 Formula 1 season, the Spaniard is proving that age is just a number.
After achieving a great result in Belgium, where he finished fifth, in Dutch Grand Prix he scored again for the tenth consecutive race. An event in which he went from 13th at the start to 6th.
Below is its history and prices Alonso in Zandvoort.
Fernando Alonso’s Dutch Grand Prix record
Despite Fernando Alonso’s long and extensive career in his world motor sports it was only 2021 when he competed in the Circuit Zandvoort for the first time. The Spanish driver had never raced at the Dutch circuit, neither in Formula 1 nor in the lower categories, which was no excuse for not scoring a great result.
In the Dutch Grand Prix from last year, the Asturians corrected a somewhat disappointing ranking by finishing ninth with a flawless Sunday. Alonso gained two places in the first round, where it remained until the stops. Everything pointed to a more than deserved seventh place finish, but on the last lap he managed to pass Carlos Sainz for sixth place.
An unbeatable finish that made it clear he still had the speed of the past.
2022 was far from easy as he found movement in qualifying and was eliminated in Q2, starting 13th. However, the best was yet to come, because on Sunday Alpine prepared a perfect strategy for him that allowed him to move up several positions. Alonso saw the checkered flag in 7th place but a penalty in front of him moved him up to 6th.
