Verstappen and Perez will lose positions at the start of the race in Italy, Sainz and Hamilton will go to the end of the grid

The Dutch driver of Red Bull Max Verstappen will lose five positions on the starting grid of the Formula 1 round in Italy, the press service of the International Automobile Federation (FIA) informs.

The championship leader was fined for replacing the internal combustion engine. His team-mate Mexican Sergio Perez will lose 10 places, the replacement of the components of the power plant of his car also exceeded the allowable rate. Due to the replacement of engine and gearbox parts, Finn Valtteri Bottas (Alfa Romeo) will lose 15 positions at the start.

Spaniard Carlos Sainz (Ferrari), Briton Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) and Japanese Yuki Tsunoda (Alfa Tauri) will start the race in Italy from the end of the grid.

The Italian Grand Prix runs from 9 to 11 September. On Saturday at the track in Monza will be the third training session and qualification.
