General producer of “Match TV” spoke about the terminated contracts with WWE and Formula 1

The general producer of Match TV, Alexander Tashchin, spoke about the decision of the leadership of the WWE wrestling organization and Formula 1 to terminate contracts with the TV channel for display in Russia.
What agreements have been terminated? There were only two of them. WWE wrestling tournaments sent an email notification – and they had such a right by contract. Both Formula 1 and there, partly on a formal basis: there were nuances with payment – F 1 lacked the necessary documents, and they tried to use non-payment as a reason to exit the deal, which we disputed.
Then they decided to leave Russia altogether: the cancellation of the Grand Prix in Sochi, the break in relations with the promoter, Rosgonki. And there, the sanctions in England arrived in time – this, in fact, became the main reason for terminating the contract. With the rest, the agreements have only been suspended, – Taschin quotes the “Championship”.
