Sainz showed the best result in the first practice of the US Grand Prix, Schwartzman made his debut in F-1 and became 16th
Spanish Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz of Spain was the best in the first free practice of the US Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas.
The best of the circles Sainz drove in 1 minute 36.857 seconds. The second result was shown by the reigning champion Max Verstappen (+0.224 seconds) from Red Bull. Closed the top three British driver of Mercedes Lewis Hamilton (+0.475).
Russian Ferrari test driver 23-year-old Robert Shvartsman made his debut in the “royal races”. He showed the 16th result, replacing the Monegasque Charles Leclerc.
In February, the International Automobile Federation (FIA) allowed Russian drivers to take part in competitions in a neutral status. Schwartzman is performing under an Israeli racing license this season.
The second free practice will take place later on Friday. The third practice and qualification will take place on October 22.
The US Grand Prix will take place at the Circuit of the Americas on October 23rd.
