Verstappen is the best in qualifying for the Bahrain Grand Prix, Leclerc is third

Red Bull driver Max Verstappen took pole position in qualifying for the Bahrain Grand Prix. The Dutchman completed the best lap in 1.29.708.

The second place in the decisive attempt was taken by the Mexican Sergio Perez (Red Bull), the third was the Monegasque Charles Leclerc (Ferrari).

The stage in Bahrain opens the new Formula 1 season. The Grand Prix will continue with the Sunday race, starting at 18:00 Moscow time.
