Formula 1 driver takes part in street cleaning after floods in Italy
The Japanese pilot “Alpha Tauri” Yuki Tsunoda took part in cleaning the streets of the Italian city of Faenza, which had previously been badly damaged due to flooding. The photos were published by the Formula 1 press service.
The stage of the motor racing championship in Imola, which was supposed to take place next weekend, was canceled due to severe flooding in the province of Emilia-Romagna. According to the latest data, the death toll due to natural disaster has reached 15 people.
“The city was badly damaged. Many people are trying to find food or a place to live, many have been evacuated. We will be grateful for any help,” Tsunoda wrote on social networks.
Earlier, the Alfa Tauri and Ferrari teams, which are based in Italy, sent material assistance to flood victims.
Tsunoda occupies 16th place in the personal standings of the current season, having 2 points in his asset.
