Sainz was the best in the first practice of the Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix, the session was completed ahead of schedule

Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz was the best in the first free practice session of the Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix.
The fastest lap time for the Spanish driver is 1 minute 13.372 seconds. The second place was taken by his compatriot Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin, backlog – 0.338 seconds), Briton Lewis Hamilton from Mercedes closed the top three (+0.663).
At the end of the race, Williams driver Alexander Albon had an accident, everything is fine with the driver. The session ended early.
The second practice of the Monaco Grand Prix will take place later on Friday.
