Verstappen wins fifth of seven F1 races

Dutch Red Bull driver Max Verstappen won the Spanish Grand Prix and claimed his fifth victory in seven races of the Formula 1 season.

The current champion in the race was in the lead from start to finish and showed the best lap.

A double podium in Barcelona was earned by the Mercedes drivers: Lewis Hamilton – the second, George Russell – the third.

Sergio Perez (Red Bull) finished fourth after starting from 11th position.

Charles Leclerc (Ferrari), who qualified only 19th the day before, started from the pit lane and ended up in 11th place. From Pierre Gasly (Alpin), who became 10th, the Monegasque was less than a second behind.
