Max Verstappen added another win, this time at Austrian GP F1 sprint race 2023. And he did it, again, without a rival. The Dutchman added his 4th win in these sessions with undisputed pace. In 24 laps he took more than 20 seconds from his teammateCheco Perez, what was that second after a strong start, followed by Carlos Sainz in third place.
This sprint lived up to the expectations of the fans due to the mixed weather conditions, which led some to ride on dry tires to the finish without much success. And the short race was exciting due to the early stages where Perez unsuccessfully battled Verstappen, leaving the Mexican relegated to third after a mistake at Turn 5. Later, Czeko overtook Hulkenberg and settled into second place unable to match the Dutchman’s pace.
