A stunt driver with a personal jet crashed onto the track before the Austrian Grand Prix Formula 1 race in Spielberg.
The incident occurred a few minutes before the start of the Sunday race. A man with a jetpack, in a red suit and with a checkered flag headed for the 10th turn of the track. Then he rolled over in the air, lost his balance and hit the asphalt. According to Mundo Deportivo, the man escaped serious injury.
The incident did not lead to the postponement of the race, which started as planned at 16:00 Moscow time. The winner of the Austrian Grand Prix was the driver of Red Bull Max Verstappen.
