Sainz lost fourth place at the Austrian F1 Grand Prix due to a fine

Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz has lost fourth place in the Formula 1 Austrian Grand Prix due to a 10-second penalty.
After the end of the race, the Aston Martin team filed a protest against the preliminary results of the race, stating that not all drivers were penalized for driving off the track. Approximately 1200 episodes were subject to consideration.
The press service of the International Automobile Federation (FIA) accepted the complaint and after the race announced that eight participants received additional fines, including top 10 Sainz, seven-time world champion Briton Lewis Hamilton from Mercedes and Frenchman Pierre Gasly (Alpin “).
Sainz dropped from fourth to sixth position, Hamilton – from seventh to eighth, Gasley – from ninth to tenth. The fourth in the end was the Briton Lando Norris (McLaren), the fifth – the Spaniard Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin).
Alonso, who is third in the championship after the reshuffle, received two additional points in the standings of the pilots.
