Sainz wins Italian Formula 1 Grand Prix qualification

Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz showed the best time in qualifying for the Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix.

The result of the Spaniard is 1 minute 20.294 seconds. For Sainz, this is the first pole position of the season.

Two-time champion and leader of the current championship Max Verstappen (Red Bull) qualified second, losing 0.013 seconds to Sainz.

The third time was shown by Charles Leclerc (Ferrari).

The race in Monza will take place on Sunday, starting at 16:00 (Moscow time).
