Verstappen showed the best time in the second practice of the Japanese Grand Prix

Red Bull driver Max Verstappen won the second free practice of the Japanese Grand Prix.

The Dutch driver’s best lap time was 1 minute 30.688 seconds.

Second place went to Charles Leclerc from Ferrari (+0.320), third was Lando Norris from McLaren (+0.464).

The session was ended early due to the accident of Alpine pilot Pierre Gasly.

The third free practice session and qualifying will take place on Saturday.
