Max Verstappen’s father nearly fell off a cliff while preparing for a rally in Spain

Former Formula 1 driver Jos Verstappen was involved in an accident while preparing for the La Nucia rally in Spain, as a result of the incident the front part of his car rammed into a barrier, Motorsport reports.

Jos Verstappen, the father of three-time Formula 1 champion Max Verstappen, and his co-driver Renault Jamoul were not injured and were able to leave the cockpit on their own. A metal barrier prevented the race participants from falling off the cliff.

In his nine-year career, Jos Verstappen has competed in 106 Formula 1 Grands Prix, and he also has rally experience.
