Norris showed the first time in qualifying for the Brazilian Grand Prix sprint, beating Verstappen by 0.061 seconds

British McLaren driver Lando Norris showed the best time in qualifying for the sprint race of the Brazilian Grand Prix.

Norris’s final lap was 0.061 seconds faster than the time of the Dutch Red Bull driver Max Verstappen. Mexican Sergio Perez took third place at the end of the session.

In the first segment of the sprint qualifying, the French Alpin driver Esteban Ocon and the Spaniard Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin) collided.

The pilots will start the sprint race later on Saturday, starting at 21:30 Moscow time. On Sunday there will be a classic race, the grid of which will be determined based on the results of Friday’s qualifying.
