Red Bull driver Max Verstappen tested behind the wheel of one of the Ferrari sports cars to help driver Thierry Vermeulen, who competes under the brand of the Dutchman’s website.
The Ferrari 296 GT3 races took place in Mugello, Italy. Vermeulen is the son of Raymond Vermeulen, the Dutchman’s manager.
– I’m glad to help Thierry. He and I are like one big family, and I am also a fan of GT and sim racing,” Blick quotes Verstappen as saying.
Verstappen is a three-time Formula 1 champion. Previously, the 26-year-old driver announced that he plans to create his own team in GT racing.
