For the Spaniards it was a Sunday to forget. Fernando Alonso took over several drivers at startup, causing a chain accident which defined the rest of the career of Pérez and Carlos Sainz himself. Despite this, the man from Madrid managed to climb to 6th place, while the Asturian finished in 9th place.

Highlights of the 2023 F1 GP in Las Vegas
- Exit: Max Verstappen took the lead in the first few meters, dislodging Leclerc in the first corner. Meanwhile, at the back, Alonso and Sainz lost control of the car and had a minor incident, finishing the first lap at the bottom and with damage. On the bright side, Lance Stroll went from 19th to 9th thanks to a soft tire start. Checo Pérez also had to change the front wing after a hit.
- Round 3: Lando Norris ends up in the wall at turn 12 in a very bad crash that causes him to go out safety car. End of the race for the Brit who was on the edge of the points.
- Round 7: On the restart Verstappen held on to first place in a cleaner restart from the start of the race. Various battles without noteworthy incidents.

- Round 25: Russell and Verstappen collided after the Dutchman tried to overtake the Mercedes driver at Turn 12. The Briton left no room for the three-time world champion and destroyed his flat bottom.
- Round 26: Went out safety car because there were many pieces of carbon fiber on the track after this incident. Stop Dance boxes and the race is complicated for Leclerc.
- Round 28: Five second penalty for George Russell for collision with Verstappen.
- Round 30: Great pace from Perez who is behind Leclerc with no more stops and fighting for the win.
