The head of the Red Bull Formula 1 team, Christian Horner, was accused of sexual harassment, the Daily Mail reported, citing the Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf.
According to the publication, one of the team’s employees accused Horner of sending her messages of a sexual nature. Later, to prevent this from becoming public knowledge, he offered the victim about 650 thousand pounds sterling (760 thousand euros) for silence.
In early February, the Red Bull team initiated an internal independent investigation into 50-year-old Horner, who has led the team since 2005. He denies all charges.
