Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc won qualifying for the Monaco Grand Prix.

In addition, Leclerc broke Max Verstappen’s (Red Bull) streak of eight pole positions in a row. A week ago, the Dutchman repeated Ayrton Senna’s record for this indicator.
The second position according to the results of qualifying was taken by the Australian McLaren driver Oscar Piastri (+0.154), the top three was closed by the Spaniard Carlos Sainz (Ferrari, +0.248).
The current world champion and season leader Verstappen touched the wall in one of the corners in a decisive attempt and finished only sixth (+0.297).
The Formula 1 race in Monaco will take place on Sunday, May 26, starting at 16:00 Moscow time.
