Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton showed the best time in the second session of free practice at the 10th stage of Formula 1 – the Spanish Grand Prix, which takes place in Barcelona.
The Briton’s fastest lap was 1 minute 13.264 seconds. The second was the Ferrari driver, the Spaniard Carlos Sainz (+0.022), the top three was closed by the Briton Lando Norris from McLaren (+0.055).
The current champion and season leader Max Verstappen (Red Bull) showed the fifth time, losing 0.240 seconds to Hamilton.
On Saturday, the third free practice session, as well as qualifying, will take place as part of the Spanish Grand Prix. The race will take place on Sunday.
