Verstappen wins sprint at Formula 1 championship round in Austria

Dutch Red Bull driver Max Verstappen won the sprint race at the Formula 1 championship in Austria.
The current world champion started from the first position and retained the lead until the finish of the distance. Australian Oscar Piastri finished the race in second place (+4.616), and British pilot Lando Norris (+5.348) rounded out the top three. Both represent the McLaren team.
According to the rules of the sprint, the strongest eight receive credit points.
The racing weekend in Austria continues on Saturday with qualifying for Sunday’s stage race. The session starts at 17:00 Moscow time.
