Russell wins Formula 1 Austrian Grand Prix, Verstappen loses lead after collision with Norris

British Mercedes driver George Russell won the Austrian Grand Prix of the Formula 1 championship.

Second place went to Australian McLaren driver Oscar Piastri (+1.906), while the top three was rounded out by Spaniard Carlos Sainz (+4.533) from Ferrari.

Reigning world champion Max Verstappen (Red Bull) lost the lead after colliding with Lando Norris (McLaren), leaving the Dutchman fifth and the Briton unable to finish.

The next Formula 1 Grand Prix will be held at Silverstone (United Kingdom) from 5 to 7 July.
