British racing driver Oliver Berman will become a driver for the Haas team in 2025, the Formula 1 team’s press service reports.
The 19-year-old driver has signed a long-term contract.
At the end of the current season, German driver Nico Hulkenberg will leave the American team. The team also includes Dane Kevin Magnussen, whose contract expires at the end of 2024.
Berman, who is a member of the Ferrari Driver Academy, made his Formula 1 debut this season at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, replacing Carlos Sainz, who was hospitalised with appendicitis. The Briton finished seventh in the race.
