Norris fastest in first practice for British Grand Prix, Verstappen fourth

McLaren driver Lando Norris posted the fastest time in first practice for the British Grand Prix.
In his fastest attempt, the Briton completed the lap in 1 minute 21.420 seconds. Second place went to Canadian Lance Stroll of Aston Martin (+0.134), and the top three was completed by Norris’ teammate, Australian Oscar Piastri (+0.211).
Red Bull driver Max Verstappen showed the fourth result (+0.309).
Later on Friday, the Formula 1 UK round will hold its second free practice session, starting at 18:00 (Moscow time).
