Dutch Red Bull driver Max Verstappen set the fastest qualifying time for the Formula 1 Belgian Grand Prix.

Verstappen’s best lap was 1 minute 53.159 seconds. The second best was Monegasque Charles Leclerc (Ferrari; +0.595), and third place went to Mexican Sergio Perez (Red Bull; +0.606).

Championship leader Verstappen, despite winning qualifying, will start the race from 11th place, having previously received a 10-place penalty due to an engine change. Thus, Leclerc has pole position.

The race at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit will take place on Sunday and will start at 16:00 Moscow time.
