Norris outpaces Verstappen in first practice for Dutch Grand Prix
British McLaren driver Lando Norris set the fastest time in the first practice session of the Dutch Grand Prix.
The vice-leader of the Formula 1 championship showed a time of 1 minute 12.322 seconds, beating the current world champion Max Verstappen of Red Bull by 0.201 seconds. The third place was completed by the British Mercedes pilot Lewis Hamilton (+0.684).
The Formula 1 season has resumed after the summer break. The second session of free practice will also take place on Friday and will start at 17:00 Moscow time.
