Norris wins Formula 1 Dutch Grand Prix, Verstappen second
McLaren driver Lando Norris won the 15th round of the Formula 1 Championship, the Dutch Grand Prix.
The British driver was the first to complete 72 laps on the Zandvoort track, with the season leader, Dutchman Max Verstappen from Red Bull, finishing second, 22.896 seconds behind Norris. The top three was completed by Monaco representative Charles Leclerc (Ferrari, +25.439 seconds).
Norris’ teammate, Australian Oscar Piastri (+27.337), finished fourth. Seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) was eighth. Norris set the fastest lap and reduced the gap to Verstappen in the overall standings to 70 points.
Verstappen won at his home race in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
