Verstappen sets fastest time in first practice for Azerbaijan Grand Prix, Leclerc crashes car
Red Bull driver Max Verstappen set the fastest time in the first free practice session of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
In his fastest attempt, Verstappen completed a lap in 1 minute 45.546 seconds. The second result was shown by the Briton Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) – +0.313, the Mexican Red Bull pilot Sergio Perez completed the top three – +0.376.
The race was temporarily stopped by red flags after 30 minutes after Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc crashed his car.
The second free practice session will take place later on Friday and will start at 16:00 (Moscow time).
