Leclerc sets fastest time in Singapore Grand Prix first practice
Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc set the fastest time in the first free practice session of the Singapore Grand Prix.
The Monegasque racer completed his fastest lap in 1 minute 31.763 seconds. The second result was shown by the British McLaren driver Lando Norris (+0.076), and the top 3 was completed by another Ferrari driver, the Spaniard Carlos Sainz (+0.189).
Reigning world champion and season leader Max Verstappen (Red Bull) finished the session in fourth place (+0.334).
The Formula 1 championship round in Singapore takes place from September 20 to 22.
