Sainz set the fastest time in practice for the US Grand Prix
Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz showed the best time in practice for the US Grand Prix, the 19th stage of the Formula 1 championship.
The Spaniard’s result is 1 minute 33.602 seconds. His teammate Charles Leclerc came second (+0.021 seconds). The top three was completed by championship leader Max Verstappen (Red Bull, +0.253).
Lando Norris (McLaren), who took second place in the individual competition, showed the fourth time (+0.266).
Qualifying for the sprint will take place on Saturday night at the Austin Motor Speedway. The sprint and qualifying will take place on Saturday, and the race on Sunday.
