Verstappen won the sprint at the US Grand Prix, Sainz took second place from Norris on the last lap
Red Bull driver Max Verstappen won the sprint at the 19th stage of the Formula 1 US Grand Prix championship, which takes place in Austin.
Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz finished second, who on the last lap overtook Lando Norris (McLaren), who eventually became third.
Qualifying will take place on Sunday night in Austin and the race will take place on Sunday evening.
Championship leader Verstappen, who has not won a race this season since June, is two points clear of Norris in the drivers’ standings. The three-time world champion now has 339 points, the Briton has 285.
