Piastri showed the best time in the final practice of the Mexican Grand Prix, Verstappen was 4th
Australian McLaren driver Oscar Piastri showed the best time in the third session of free practice at the Formula 1 championship stage in Mexico.
In his fastest attempt, Piastri completed the lap in 1 minute 16.492 seconds.
Second place in the final standings was taken by another team driver, Briton Lando Norris (+0.059), while the top 3 was completed by Spanish Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz (+0.340). The current world champion and season leader Max Verstappen (Red Bull) was fourth (+0.511).
The Mexican Grand Prix will continue with qualifying, which will begin at midnight Moscow time.
