McLaren driver Piastri won the sprint at the Formula 1 Qatar Grand Prix
McLaren driver Oscar Piastri won the sprint race at the Qatar Grand Prix, the 23rd stage of the Formula 1 championship.
Another McLaren driver, Lando Norris (+0.136), who won the sprint qualifying, finished second. The top three were completed by Mercedes’ George Russell (+0.410).
Season winner Max Verstappen (Red Bull) finished eighth (+10.368).
Qualifying for the main race will take place later on Saturday in Doha.
