Esteban Ocon could leave Alpin before the end of the Formula 1 season

The Alpin team intends to part ways with French driver Esteban Ocon without waiting for the end of the current Formula 1 championship.
Autosport reports this. According to the source, Alpin and Ocon agreed to terminate their collaboration early. On the eve of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Ocon will be replaced in the Alpina car by Australian Jack Duane.
Free tests will start on December 6 in Abu Dhabi, and on December 8 the final, 24th stage of the Formula 1 season will be held there.
Ocon ranks 14th in the season standings with 23 points. On December 1 at the Qatar Grand Prix, he retired on the first lap after colliding with Williams’ Franco Colapinto during the starting dash.
