The Dutch Grand Prix will be excluded from the Formula 1 calendar after the 2026 season
The Formula 1 Dutch Grand Prix will not be held after the 2026 season, according to the racing series’ website.
“After much discussion, the promoters have decided not to keep the event on the calendar beyond 2026,” the statement said.
The race in the Netherlands returns to the Formula 1 calendar in 2021 and is held at the Zandvoort circuit. In 2020, the race was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. Previously, stages took place on this track from the middle of the last century to 1985, with the exception of 1954, 1956, 1957 and 1972.
In the current Formula 1 season, the representative of the Netherlands, Max Verstappen from Red Bull, won an early victory. The Dutch Grand Prix was won by Lando Norris (McLaren). The final stage of the 2024 season will take place in Abu Dhabi from December 6 to 8
