Until the end of April in the capital of Spain Madrid, the construction of the new Formula 1 highway will begin, Crash reports.
According to the source, they plan to build the track in a year and complete by May 2026.
The organizers said that during construction, processed materials and environmentally friendly methods will be used. Electricity used at construction facilities will be mined from renewable sources.
The length of the Madring highway will be 5.4 kilometers, of which 4.1 km will pass through the territory of the Avtodrome, and the rest of the route will srave on public roads. Thus, the track will be hybrid: partially urban, partially stadium.
Madrid will replace Barcelona as the venue of the Grand Prix of Spain since 2026 as part of a new 10 -year agreement with Formula 1.
