The Pilot “Red Bull” Max Ferstappen became the winner of the Grand Prix of Emilia -Romania “Formula 1”, which took place in the Italian imol.

For a four -time world champion, this is the second victory in the 2025 season.

The second place was taken by the McLarena racer Lando Norris, who shortly before the finish overtook his partner Oscar Piast, who started from Paul and eventually became the third.

Piastus won the start and remained a leader in the first turn, but then Fersstappen passed the Australian, created a small gap and retained the first place after the Pete Stop in the virtual security machine, which was declared on the 29th circle. When a security car appeared on the highway after the gathering of Andrea Kimi Antonelli (Mercedes), the Red Bull pilot also remained the first after stopping in the boxes. At that moment, Piastus was the second, but soon Norris on more fresh tires was able to go through the leader of the championship.

Both Ferrari pilots, which on the eve did not break into the third segment of qualifications, earned glasses: Lewis Hamilton became the fourth and showed the best result in races this season, Charles Lekler finished the sixth.

Two -time champion Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin) took 11th place and again could not score points. The Spaniard lost less than a second of Yuki Tsunode (Red Bull), which became the tenth after the start with Pit -Lyn.

In the personal standings, the situation in the top three has not changed: Piasta (146 points) still occupies the first line, Norris (133) is second, Fersstappen (124) – the third.

Three Formula 1 teams filed a lawsuit due to the possible technical advantage of Mercedes and Red Bull

The Ferrari, Audi and Aston Martin teams have filed a joint lawsuit with the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) over the advantage that Mercedes and Red Bull may have in the 2026 season under the new technical regulations, The Race reports.

In 2026, Formula 1 will switch to new technical regulations, which provide for a reduction in the fuel compression ratio in power plants from 18:1 to 16:1. This indicator will be monitored off the track.

According to the source, Mercedes and Red Bull have found a way to pass the tests while maintaining the actual race compression ratio at 18:1. This could give teams an advantage of 0.3-0.4 seconds per lap.

— The regulations clearly define the maximum compression ratio and the method for measuring it, based on static conditions at ambient temperature. This procedure remains unchanged despite the reduction in the permissible compression ratio for 2026, the FIA said in a statement.

The FIA does not intend to change the regulations at least until the tests are carried out. Teams are allowed to update their power unit designs every six races of the season.
