Lecler could not speak in the second practice before the Grand Prix of Canada due to the consequences of the accident

The Ferrari racer Charles Lekler missed the second practice in anticipation of the Grand Prix of Canada Formula 1.

After a serious accident in the first practice, a broken chassis had to be replaced by Lecler’s car. According to the regulations, after such a repair, the car must be re -undergoing technical control, which will take place only on Saturday. Thus, Lekler could not go to the second training race.

Lecler had an accident at the beginning of the first training. Monegask made an error in piloting, as a result of which his car crashed into a protective barrier and received serious damage. The session was interrupted by red flags, Lekler was not injured.

The 27 -year -old racer “Ferrari” takes fifth place in the personal standings of the season, gaining 94 points. Leading Oscar Piasta from McLaren (186).

The Canada Grand Prix will take place on Sunday, the start of the race at 21.00 Moscow time.
