Norris won the Grand Prix of Great Britain, Piastus after the fine became the second, Hulkenberg first climbed the catwalk
The McLaren pilot Lando Norris won the Grand Prix of the UK Formula 1.
For the British, this victory was the second in a row and the fourth in the current season.
The second in Silverstone was finished by his partner Oscar Piast, leading in the championship. The Australian received a 10 -second penalty along the race.
The third place was taken by Nico Hulkenberg (Kick Zauber), who for the first time in his career rose to the podium. The 37 -year -old German started from the 19th position. He made his debut in 2010 at F -1.
The fourth was Lewis Hamilton (“Ferrari”), the fifth was Max Ferstappen (“Red Bull”), which started with Paul.
Fersstappen at the start of the race, along which rain began several times, retained leadership, but on the 9th circle he was overtaken by Piasta. In the middle of the distance, in the safety car, Piasta sharply dropped the speed and forced Verteppen to drive forward, for which he subsequently received 10 seconds of the fine. On the restart of Fersstappen, it deployed, and the Red Bull rider rolled off the second place to the 10th, and then played several positions.
In the last circles, the pilots replaced the intermediate tires to slicks, the Piastus on the pitopa left a fine and missed the first place of Norris, which retained leadership to the checkered flag.
In the championship, Norris reduced the lag behind Piastes from 15 to 8 points. The Australian has 234 points, the Briton goes the second (226). The third place is occupied by Fersstappen (165), also the TOP -5 includes George Russell from Mercedes (147) and the Ferrari pilot Charles Lecler (119).
In the Cup of Designers, McLaren has 460 points, the second line is the Ferrari (222), the third is Mercedes (210).
The next stage will be held in Belgium on July 25–27.
