Piastus won the Grand Prix of Belgium, Norris took second place

The McLarena pilot Oscar Piastus won the Grand Prix of Belgium, the 13th stage of the Formula 1 championship, which was held on the highway in the spa.

The second was finished by his partner Lando Norris. The third place was taken by the Ferrari racer Charles Lekler.

Due to the rain, the start was postponed for 1 hour 20 minutes. The race began behind a security car, which left the track after the first four circles. Immediately after that, Piastus on a straight line attacked Norris who started from Poula and went into the leaders. After the pitopa, the Australian retained first place, did not yield to the finish line and won the sixth victory of the season.

In the personal standings, Piastus is now ahead of Norris by 16 points. The Australian account has 266 points, the British has 250. The troika is closed by four -time world champion Max Ferstappen (Red Bull, 185).

In the Cup of Designers, Maklaren (516) leads, the second place is occupied by Ferrari (248), the third – Mercedes (220).

The next stage will be held in Hungary on August 1-3.
