Norris showed the best time in the first training of the Grand Prix of the Netherlands, Fersstappen flew into gravel
The British McLaren pilot Lando Norris showed the best time following the results of the first session of the free races of the Grand Prix of the Netherlands.
In the fastest attempt, Norris drove a circle in 1 minute 10.278 seconds. On the second line is another Maklaren racer Australian Oscar Piast (+0,292), Canadian Lance Stroll (Aston Martin; +0.501) closed the three.
The current world champion Max Berstappen (+0.940) began the weekend on the home highway from the sixth position. After the session was completed, the Netherlander practiced the start from the place, but could not cope with the control in the first turn and flew into the gravel trap.
Both Ferrari pilots are located outside the TOP -10: Charles Lekler became 14th (+1,673), Lewis Hamilton – the 15th (+1,682).
The “Formula 1” stage in Zandvort will continue on Friday the second session of free races, the beginning at 17:00 Moscow time.
