Ex -Partnik Alonso in Formula 1 was detained in Brazil
Former Formula 1 racer Tarso Marquez was detained in Brazil, reports Associated Press.
It is noted that the 49 -year -old Brazilian was detained on Sunday in San Paulo, when he rode on Lamborghini without numbers. The police who stopped Markes found out when checking that the car was listed in the amount of almost 240 thousand dollars.
Marquez performed in Formula 1 in 1996-1997 and 2001 for the Minardi team, spent 26 Grand Prix and did not score a single point, his best result in the race – ninth place. In his last season, the Brazilian was a partner of Fernando Alonso, who debuted in F -1 in 2001. According to the results of that championship, Marquez took 22nd place and was ahead of Alonso, who also did not score points and was classified by 23rd.
