Mercedes racer Russell and several more people from Paddok picked up the virus in Baku – Media
The British pilot of the Mercedes team George Russell and several more people from Paddok fell ill in anticipation of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in Baku, reports Soymotor.
Earlier, the German team announced that Russell would miss the press with the press on Thursday due to poor health. The media claim that in addition to the pilot, the unnamed virus also struck several other representatives of the Paddok Formula 1, the epicenter of the outbreak could be a hotel where riders and staff stopped.
However, it is reported that at the moment there is no reason for taking preventive measures against the virus, and the racing weekend will pass according to the plan.
The Grand Prix of Azerbaijan Formula 1 will be held in Baku from September 19 to 21.
